I made a couple of small aesthetic changes to the widget and crowned it version 2.0. It has been available for a few days now, but I am just getting around to posting about it. If anyone has any ideas to incorporate into newer verions, drop me a line in the comments. Download the Adsense Widget
I finally got a good way to “snap back” to “todays” earnings. Just hover over the widget and notice the SnapBack™ icon that appears beside the name of the report you are looking at (”today”, “yesterday”, “last month” etc).
So here is a new release! You can either download via the link, or use the nifty auto-updater which is included in your widget (v1.0+). Just use Apple+r to reload the widget and it will alert you that there is an update.
Again, Download the latest Adsense Widget.
I just issued a small update, which puts the Adsense Widget at v1.51 - Basically all that I did was fix the impropper positioning of the done button on the back of the widget, plus some other small changes - as in 1px moving of some stuff. Get The Latest Version Here . I am working on putting in a “revert” button, to make scrolling through the various reports much easier. Should see that release with a day or so.

Great news everyone! The latest release of the Google Adsense Widget is finally here. Version 1.50 combines a lot of the features that everyone was looking for, but still manages to keep the widget interface simple and uncluttered. New Features include:
- Weekly Earnings
- Earnings this month
- Earnings last month
- Yesterdays Earnings
- Loading indicator - no more wondering if your stats are fresh or not!
Get the latest version - I know u wanna. Also - Those earnings in the pics are not real, just filler to take a good screenshot with.
Every so often we post about apps that we just love. Misu is one of those! Misu allows you and a friend to connect two ipods together and “Fuse” the music libraries of both. Better yet, Misu is smart, it only copies the songs you don’t have. Best of all, it actually looks good. Download Misu Today! Its probably the best $19 dollars you will spend on great mac software.
With a little help from someone more familiar with the Google Login routine, I am happy to announce Adsense Widget v1.40. Special thanks goes out to Troels Bay (of Hosted Gmail Notifier Reader Notifier fame). This is a bugfix release, but be watching the widget for an update that might include features such as:
- All-time revenue
- Revenue Yesterday
- Revenue this month
- Revenue last month
So it seems Google has switched the login procedure (possibly a long time ago, but I had an Adsense account early on, so maybe I was “grandfathered in), so I am now also unable to check my Adsense earnings via widget. I am getting “Invalid username and password”, so now that I am able to replicate the problems everyone has been having, I can probably come up with a fix
. Expect another release to hit your auto-update soon!
We’re trying to keep the average shelf life of this widget below 5 hours :-), so we already have another release. Improvements include:
- Better keychain integration, I had some rare occasions where a security dialog popped up needing authorization to use the keychain, so we fixed that.
- The auto-update feature now points to /widgets/adsense/current.zip, which will always have the most current version.
Good News! I have reworked and fixed my classic Google Adsense Dashboard Widget.
The latest file can be found here:

(Already a minor update (available here), at least it gives me a chance to test the auto-notification of an upgrade)
Here is the latest news on my Adsense Widget:
The Bad News:
-
I deleted the sparkIt.php page that created the sparkline graph, so the graph doesn’t work anymore.
-
I thought no one used the widget, so I deleted it off the server.
-
I don’t have a copy of the widget, and I have forgotten how the data was sent to the sparkIt.php page.
Wow! That was some depressing stuff. Now here is the Good News:
-
I found an archived copy of Adsense Widget v. 1.33 on DashboardWidgets.com
-
I have created a better way of logging into adsense via php/curl, which means the widget will work for more people.
-
I think I am going to customize the design just a little, to make it better looking.
Lesson learned, check the stats before you delete something that might be useful to someone else.
Also, please bear with me as I redesign the site. I have been busy and I’m devoting most of my free time to the widget/site design.
